ABOUT US
Regeneration Church is a multigenerational and multiethnic movement that serves the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area. Founded by Pastors Frederick E. Ward and Alexandria Ward, our church's goal is to birth change, reform communities, and to be the revival in the area which it serves.
Regeneration Church is a church that stands on the foundation of the truth of God's word. We believe that Jesus is the only way to God according to John 14:6: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
We believe in an active relationship with the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit is our guide and our teacher according to John 16:13: "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."
We are a church that experiences the wonders of God according to Acts 2:17: "And it shall come to pass in the last days saith God, that I shall pour out my spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams". Signs and wonders are the hallmark of this movement. Salvation, healing, and deliverance are active at Regeneration Church and as a result, will be active in our community. Because signs and wonders follow the word, we will be a strong word church with signs and wonders following according to Mark 16:17: "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my names shall they cast out devils; they shall speak in with new tongues;".
Regeneration Church is a church that builds community. Building a strong community is what meshes everyday life and church membership. Building a community shows that we care about your everyday life, not just your membership. Community building will serve as a sign to our members/partners that we as a church care about all that encompasses them. Regeneration Church is a ministry that is concerned about the total man: that encompasses mind, soul, and spirit. With our ministry being concerned with the total man, it is our desire to reach every level of the human experience to lead and guide our members and partners to live a life from a more spiritual aspect as God has directed us in Galatians 5:16-26. We are SPIRIT LED people.
